BMW 3 Series (E30) Power Steering Problems – Racks & Pumps

The BMW 3 Series (E30) uses a conventional power steering system, which consists of a fully hydraulic power steering rack, power steering pump and power steering hoses. There is one high pressure hose from the pump to the rack and a low pressure return hose from the rack going back to the reservoir to recirculate the power steering fluid.
